Fisherman Fred's may have moved but we are the same great store you have used in the past. We want to be the number one bait shop in the Greater Trenton area and want to be your one stop bait & tackle. We still offer all the types of live bait and everything else we had at the old location, including the best customer service there is. Remember our motto is "Delighting Our Customers".
We are centrally located around most local lakes and streams. We are close to Lake Mercer, the Assunpink Creek, AMC, Miry Run Lake (tech pond), the lakes in Town Center, Rosedale Lake, Colonial Lake, D&R Canal, Delaware River, Lake Assunpink, Rising Sun, and Stone Tavern just to name a few. To see the location of these lakes you can use our lake locations web page by clicking here.

If in the hustle and bustle of everyday business, we sometimes fail to slow down long enough to personally say thank you, please know that your patronage is never taken for granted. We would like to thank you from all of us at Fisherman Fred's LLC for giving us the opportunity to supply you with your fishing needs. Tight lines and we hope you hook that big one.
Ok there has been lots of questions and confusion caused by the below post. Basically nothing has changed and it will not until the business is sold or we close
the doors. I will try to address a lot of concerns here.
Are you closed?
No we are not closed and have the same hours as we always have had until the end of Sept.
Will you still have bait?
We will have bait until we close our doors. Matter of fact we have a load of bait coming in today or tomorrow.
How much are you selling the business for?
That is between me and anybody that is interested in it. Make me an offer, hey you just never know, right? but then do not make offers like $100 or I will just blow you off.
Are you still doing rod and reel repairs?
Yes, but we will most likely be shutting that down some time in August. I will be posting that here and on the website.
Can I still buy a custom rod?
Yes it is the same thing as with the rod and reel repairs.
I hope this helps out some. The shop is still the same as it has been for 7 plus years. I am the same person as I have been and will help you out any way that I can. So come on in and we will supply you with your fishing needs.
So where do I start? I guess I will start by saying that Fisherman Fred's LLC is for sale. That is right the business is for sale. I can no longer do this for a bunch of reasons. There are things in life that you do not control or can not control. If the business isn't sold by September 30, 2015 it will be closed on Sunday September 27, 2015 so I can move things out. We will be open until that time and will continue to serve your fishing needs until we close the doors. So please continue to support us until what ever happens. If anything changes I will update you here and on Facebook.
If you would like information about the store being sold please come see me. Please no tire kickers as I do not have time for that. We will also be getting ready for the going out of business sale in the near future if the business is not sold, so watch the web site and Facebook for that announcement.
To start I am in the process of moving myself. Once I am moved, it is much further for me to travel to get to the store. I am not getting any younger and my health just isn't what it used to either. Don't worry I am doing ok but there are just some things that just are not what they were almost 8 years ago. So there are just a few reasons that I will let you in on. And believe me when I say there are others that only my wife and I know about.
I would like to take this time to thank everyone who has used Fisherman Fred's too supply your fishing needs over the years. This is a very sad time for me as I have poured my heart into this business only to have to let it go. This decision is one of the hardest things I have ever done, but it is one that I have to do. I just hope you can understand.
Thank you and tight lines,
