We are committed to all types of fisherman, whether it be freshwater or saltwater.
Why pay Shore prices? We have a full supply of tackle, rods, and reels for Surf and Saltwater fishing right here in Hamilton, Mercer County NJ
We carry Penn, Shimano, Tica, Daiwa, Okuma, Quantum, reels. Tica, Dawia, and Shakespeare rods. We have a good section of Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits,
Berkley Power Bait, and Gulp. We also carry custom hand tied flies for both freshwater and saltwater.
We carry LIVE BAIT for freshwater such as minnows, crayfish, and worms. Please see our Bait Status
or the Fishing Report web page to see what is in stock. In the winter we will also have Ice Fishing supplies and baits.
If we do not have something you want in stock we can and will order it for you.
As we grow into this business we will be expanding into some camping and hunting supplies as well. That is where the bait & tackle and more... comes from.
We now have some tents and camping supplies in stock. We are in the process of adding corn and other types of deer baits to the store.
The New Jersey fishing reports are updated daily. The saltwater fishing report covers surf (IBSP and LBI mostly), jetty, and boats.
The bay fishing report covers Barnegat and Great Bays and will include a crabbing report as well. The freshwater report covers local lakes, streams, and rivers.

Fisherman Fred's Custom Rods COMING SOON. We are looking to do some custom rods in the future. They will be a 7 foot spinning and casting for freshwater,
a 6 foot 6 inch fluking rod, and a 9 foot surf plugging pole. We will have some in stock but if you would like to make changes such as reel seat or guides
we will have it built. Keep your eye on the website for when we will be introducing them.

Well the state of NJ has done it again. They didn't pass the saltwater license registry bill. What this means is that some who fish saltwater in 2010 will
have to register with the federal government's National Saltwater Angler Registry Program. You will have to register if you, fish for or catch anadromous species
such as striped bass, shad, river herring in NJ tidal waters, or if you fish in Federal waters which is more than 3 miles from shore.
You do not have to register if you, are 16 years of age, fish on federally licensed party or charter boats, or hold a Highly Migratory Species Angling Permit.

To register by phone call 888-674-7411. At least the fee for 2010 is free. Who knows what that fee will be in 2011.

I am sorry to announce that as of today the online store is closed. I
had to do this to put all my time into the Hamilton store. I need to grow that business and be able to Delight Our Customers. Maybe in the future I
will re-open an online store.

Well we released the lastest version of our website on Nov. 1. We think it is easier

We are geared up for the fall run. We have a full supply of Bombers, Atoms,
Deadly Dicks, Storm plastics, custom hand tied saltwater flies, and rigs of all kinds. For the boaters, we have bunker spoons and Stretch 25 and 35 in stock.
Stop in and pick-up what you need on your way before you forget or it is too late.
We will also be be carrying Ice Fishing supplies and baits in the near future. Please watch the website for more information.
